I have suffered from cold sores for about 25 years. Over the years I was able to prevent them from getting HUGE but I was never able to prevent them from surfacing and being noticable. Within the last year I've been getting cold sores once or twice per month. I tried almost everything you could think of, but nothing worked. After extensive research, I came across Trilex. I must admit it was all of the great reviews that made me try it. I had just gotten rid of a cold sore when my shipment arrived. I started out taking one pill per day. I'm always skeptical about anything that does not have tons of research proving results. I do, however, suffer from the occasional cold sore, and in college this is very difficult to deal with. I have used my mother's prescription to valtrax occasionally when I got a cold sore, and I was at home. It worked ok, but it only reduced the time and symptoms. About a year ago I decided to just get one bottle of this to see if it works. I bought it, and was anxious to try it, and one day I got that tingling feeling and a small bump started forming. I took 2 of these pills right then with breakfast. I then took 2 more at lunch, and then forgot about it at dinner because the sucker was gone! Well, I thought maybe I just wasn't really getting one anyway, so I was still skeptical. Now, I don't get cold sores often, so it took another six months or so, and I started to get one again. Started taking these pills again, and sure enough, no blister was able to form. It killed it in less than a day. If your on the fence about this product, just try one bottle. It's a great investment! Lucky for me as long as I control my stress this bottle will last me for years.

With my first bottle of Trilex I had great results. The minute I felt that I was getting a cold sore I would take three pills. I would continue taking three pills in the morning, afternoon, and evening for about two days. Using the pills in this way prevented me from getting cold sores for about 6 months. After receiving my second order of pills I noticed the label was different as well as the consistency of the herbs inside the cellulose capsule. It wasn't until I realized the pills were no longer working that I looked more closely at the ingredients and realized they were different than the ingredients listed on my first bottle. I contacted the company and they said they still use the same ingredients but that they had added a few more herbs. Regardless of what specific changes they made, the pills no longer work for me.

I got another cold sore. So I ordered Trilex, the cold sore bloomed and exploded. The next day I received the product within 5 days the cold sore was healed. I used to get cold sores every 2-3 months on average, until I started taking Trilex about 8 months ago. The first time I felt a sore starting I took 3 capsules 3 times that day, and the sore completely went away without even as much as a blemish. The 2nd time was about 2 months later and again I took 3 capsules 3 times and no sore breakout. The 3rd time I had a sore develop so fast that when i woke up in the morning I had a small blister already started, I was very concerned that it would be too late to stop this one. I actually took 3 capsules the normal 3 times that day and the sore din't get any larger so I took the same dosage the next day and the sore slowly dried up and went away without any noticeable marks or abrasions. I am the most skeptical person you will ever see when it comes to medical products actually working but Trilex actually does exactly what it says it does and even more.. I was a believer the first and second time taking it, but to have it reverse the blister effect without any abrasions was absolutely a godsend. Trilex took one third of the time for my cold sores to go away. In the past I used the topical cream which really didn't do much. I was amazed and so happy to see it clear up in so short a time. I never want to get cold sores again but if I do, I know that Trilex will be there for me.

I am a no BS kind of guy, and I have NEVER written a review before. I got this terrible virus from my in-laws. Luckly my wife is one of those lucky people that don't get cold sores. Anyhow, I have gotton them for years, usually 4 or 5 times a year during the winter. Terrible ones lasting at least two weeks. Last year while I had one I started looking for some kind of relief other than L-Lysine, (which is good for prevention, but they can still come when you are taking it) and found Trilex. I took it during week two of the cold sore and it started healing the next day. I thought that was good, but not great. Just last week I felt a bump, no itching or burning, so I guess the thing came on during the night. Immediatly I took the Trilex. I don't know how many, but alot. I NEVER got the coldsore! There was a small red spot on my lip about the size of a pen point for 2 days.

I had a bottle on hand so at the first signs of tingling, I began to take the product. I took 2 capsules 3 times a day. While it may have slowed the progression slightly, overall not good results. By the 5th day of taking the capsules, my cold sore had developed into a big ugly scab as usual. I expected far better results. I suspect that all the reviews are bogus, and written by the people who are in the company. I wish I could get my money back, but since it has been way over 30 days. I am conviced! this is the last product relating to cold sore that I will try unless it elimates the virus for good. When I have an outbreak it last for more than 7 days and it's ugly.... Trilex starts to work minutes after you take it, and prevent it to go any further. It heals in about 2 days. I have avoided an outbreak all together by taking at the first sign. I was out this time, and away from home. Nonetheless, it quickly reversed the damage as soon as I was able to commence treatment. My sincere thanks to anyone involve in making this available to us whom are so unlucky to have this nasty virus. I will continue to recommend this med to anyone that are looking for a solution.

I used this when i got a fever blister. A very bad case i might add. The trilex got of rid of it in 2 days. I think i had a mild case of the swine flu and after a few days of feeling horrible i thought i would try taking the Trilex. The next day a felt great i wish i would have tried it alot earlier.

I'll keep a supply of Trilex on hand from now on! When I first found/ordered/received it my fever blister was already full blown and obnoxious and painful! I took it immediately and it stopped it from worsening but still took quite a while to heal. I was ready for the next one though! Caught it early (within 24 hours of it popping up) and began taking 3 pills 3 times a day. It never got to the terribly painful point and never looked like I had been punched in the mouth (like it usually does!). It still itched but was only painful when accidentally scratched! It was gone in about 3 days instead of the normal 2 weeks or more!! And I could start kissing my husband again much sooner than normal too...bonus!
The only down-side I've noticed is mild to moderate stomach cramps. I'm not completely sure that these are related to the Trilex but they seem to be. Not unbearable though, just uncomfortable.

I took the product per instructions when I first noticed a cold sore. Normally when I get cold sores they will last from 1 - 3 weeks. I started taking these pills and within 7 days it was gone, plus during the time taking the pills; the sore was dryer and not as obvious as prior sores. I have had cold sores since childhood, never have had a remedy help heal like this! being that I have just started this remedy, it will be interesting to see if this helps in the long term or wears off with use... for now though I am very grateful for these pills.

I take trilex at least once a day sometimes 2-3 times depending on stress level for day. Since started using it I have not had one cold sore so 2 full months with out them with extreme exposure to sun and stress. I would recommend to anyone troubled with cold sores. My husband and I have had fever blisters as far back as we can remember. For me, I used to get them so big on my chin, I would have to walk around with a giant bandaid on my chin for almost 2 weeks. It was so embarassing. Even though I know most people get them, it's still gross and I would hardly leave my house when I would get one.
My husband also has had them his whole life.
We started taking Lycine about 2 years ago and that did wonders for the length of time they would last, but it never prevented them from coming out unless we took it everyday. And if anyone has had Lycine you know that it tastes like chalk.
I usually would get one almost every month around the same time (hint,hint ladies). Well the first month we had Trilex I started to feel one coming on so I took two Trilex. My chin itched like crazy for about 2 hours and I could actually feel it doing something. Well, I woke up the next day and it never even came out. I couldn't believe it.
The same thing the next month. My husband had the same effect. We both have not had one in at least 3 months. It may seem foolish to some, but we feel like Trilex has given us a part of our life back that has been hidden behind bandaid's for years. Thank you soooooo much to the people who came out with it. I was researching cold sore remedies one day when I came across a blog someone had written about this product. It sounded like an amazing product, but for me [$] seemed like a lot to spend on a product that could fail, like so many have. Well I figured I'd tried everything else, I'll try this too. It is AMAZING!! I got a cold sore the afternoon of day 1. Took 2 capsules in the am, afternoon, and pm of day 2. By day 3 it not only had not opened up, but had smoothed over and didn't hurt anymore. Continued taking 2 capsules 3x a day on day 3, and when I woke up on day 4 it was COMPLETELY GONE. My usual cold sores continue to last and scar over a period of at least a week! It is worth the money, especially if you plan on using it just when you get them. Try it out, I will never buy a different product ever again!

I get 2 or 3 very bad cold sores a year. They usually last about 2 - 3 weeks. I never get to get to them when I first feel them coming on because they always come on overnight. Since obtaining this product for my daughter, she has been cold sore free. She started this product 2 months ago, she takes 2-3 tablets daily. She was always breaking out with a cold sore every 2 weeks to every month, big nasty looking ones. Now she is cold sore free and healthier. I've tried several things just like everyone else probably has to get rid of cold sores. I actually waited till my next cold sore to see if it would really work. I'm a new customer and I'll have to admit that I was a bit skeptical at first. I've tried so many other products for my fever blisters and I couldn't believe there was a product out there that would heal from within and never bring a blister to the blooming stage. I used to try and manage my cold sores using topical formulas, after being frustrated by no results I just gave up even trying for awhile. I was told about Trilex by my new girl friend, she raved about it so I tried it.

It definately worked but not how I thought it would. I would say it healed by cold sore really quickly. I still had some symptoms but it didn't explode and it didn't get to scabbing.

Overall I was very impressed and will certainly use it again next time.
