At the earliest sign of a cold sore breakout or even if I think I've put myself in a situation where it is likely that I might get one, I begin taking the supplement as directed for a few days. That usually fights off the breakouts altogether. If I get one for some reason (I was away from home and didn't remember to take some trilex with me), I begin hitting the trilex as soon as possible and continue taking it until the breakout is gone. Taking trilex definitely minimizes the severity and duration. I now always have several bottles on hand. I ordered this product because of the reviews, and just prayed it was as good as everyone said. I began taking one capsule a day (I didn't have a cold sore then) in hopes that it would prevent one from ever appearing; I should have read the instructions more carefully and taken the recommended dosage from the beginning. After several weeks I felt the ominous tingling on my lip; I immediately began taking 3 capsules 3 times per day. Since I was 16 yrs old, I suffered with fever blisters. It took me out of puplic at least twice a month. I tried everything from RX pills to holistic ways. Ok, I'm NOT the type of person to take the time out and write a review for anything. This product I still can't believe how amazing my results are every time I start to get a cold sore. I will get a cold sore about once every other month. I have been dealing with cold sores for about a year now. This product has kept me cold sore free for almost 3 years. I was getting regular cold sores (at least 1 every 3-4 months) for years until I discovered this product in a last ditch internet search. I get horrible breakouts on my lips. They are big, ugly, and the bane of my existence. I started getting cold sores in high school probably once a year. Then I would get them twice a year as I entered college, and of course, I got them frequently towards the end of college. I am 22 years old, and I must say the levels of stress and anxiety from work and school has definitely played a huge impact to my immune system. I'm always skeptical about anything that does not have tons of research proving results. I do, however, suffer from the occasional cold sore, and in college this is very difficult to deal with. I have used my mother's prescription to valtrax occasionally when I got a cold sore, and I was at home. It worked ok, but it only reduced the time and symptoms. About a year ago I decided to just get one bottle of this to see if it works. I bought it, and was anxious to try it, and one day I got that tingling feeling and a small bump started forming. With my first bottle of Trilex I had great results. The minute I felt that I was getting a cold sore I would take three pills. I would continue taking three pills in the morning, afternoon, and evening for about two days. Using the pills in this way prevented me from getting cold sores for about 6 months. After receiving my second order of pills I noticed the label was different as well as the consistency of the herbs inside the cellulose capsule. It wasn't until I realized the pills were no longer working that I looked more closely at the ingredients and realized they were different than the ingredients listed on my first bottle. I contacted the company and they said they still use the same ingredients but that they had added a few more herbs. Regardless of what specific changes they made, the pills no longer work for me.

I used to get cold sores every 2-3 months on average, until I started taking Trilex about 8 months ago. The first time I felt a sore starting I took 3 capsules 3 times that day, and the sore completely went away without even as much as a blemish. The 2nd time was about 2 months later and again I took 3 capsules 3 times and no sore breakout. The 3rd time I had a sore develop so fast that when i woke up in the morning I had a small blister already started, I was very concerned that it would be too late to stop this one. I am a no BS kind of guy, and I have NEVER written a review before. I got this terrible virus from my in-laws. Luckly my wife is one of those lucky people that don't get cold sores. Anyhow, I have gotton them for years, usually 4 or 5 times a year during the winter. Terrible ones lasting at least two weeks. Last year while I had one I started looking for some kind of relief other than L-Lysine, (which is good for prevention, but they can still come when you are taking it) and found Trilex. I took it during week two of the cold sore and it started healing the next day. I thought that was good, but not great. Just last week I felt a bump, no itching or burning, so I guess the thing came on during the night. Immediatly I took the Trilex. I don't know how many, but alot. I NEVER got the coldsore! There was a small red spot on my lip about the size of a pen point for 2 days.

I had a bottle on hand so at the first signs of tingling, I began to take the product. I took 2 capsules 3 times a day. While it may have slowed the progression slightly, overall not good results. I am conviced! this is the last product relating to cold sore that I will try unless it elimates the virus for good. When I have an outbreak it last for more than 7 days and it's ugly.... Trilex starts to work minutes after you take it, and prevent it to go any further. It heals in about 2 days. I have avoided an outbreak all together by taking at the first sign. I was out this time, and away from home. Nonetheless, it quickly reversed the damage as soon as I was able to commence treatment. I'll keep a supply of Trilex on hand from now on! When I first found/ordered/received it my fever blister was already full blown and obnoxious and painful! I took it immediately and it stopped it from worsening but still took quite a while to heal. I was ready for the next one though! Caught it early (within 24 hours of it popping up) and began taking 3 pills 3 times a day. It never got to the terribly painful point and never looked like I had been punched in the mouth (like it usually does!). It still itched but was only painful when accidentally scratched! It was gone in about 3 days instead of the normal 2 weeks or more!! And I could start kissing my husband again much sooner than normal too...bonus!
The only down-side I've noticed is mild to moderate stomach cramps. I'm not completely sure that these are related to the Trilex but they seem to be. Not unbearable though, just uncomfortable.

I took the product per instructions when I first noticed a cold sore. Normally when I get cold sores they will last from 1 - 3 weeks. I started taking these pills and within 7 days it was gone, plus during the time taking the pills; the sore was dryer and not as obvious as prior sores. I have had cold sores since childhood, never have had a remedy help heal like this! being that I have just started this remedy, it will be interesting to see if this helps in the long term or wears off with use... for now though I am very grateful for these pills.

My husband and I have had fever blisters as far back as we can remember. For me, I used to get them so big on my chin, I would have to walk around with a giant bandaid on my chin for almost 2 weeks. I have used many other products that have not worked. I saw the first signs of a cold sore coming on and I took trilex and used a topical cream. The cold sore never developed and its gone. I cant believe how well this worked. I will be keeping a bottle on hand at all times.

I get 2 or 3 very bad cold sores a year. They usually last about 2 - 3 weeks. I never get to get to them when I first feel them coming on because they always come on overnight. I started taking this stuff the first thing in the morning and in about 2 days, it was completely dried up. This has NEVER happened to me before. I have been getting cold sores since I was a kid and have tried everything there is to try. This is by far the best product I have used.

Since obtaining this product for my daughter, she has been cold sore free. She started this product 2 months ago, she takes 2-3 tablets daily. She was always breaking out with a cold sore every 2 weeks to every month, big nasty looking ones. Now she is cold sore free and healthier. She also has not had any other illness since starting this product. She lives in a dorm with 3 other girls, who are always sick, since she started this product she has not become ill. I've tried several things just like everyone else probably has to get rid of cold sores. I actually waited till my next cold sore to see if it would really work. Well, I woke up in the morning and low and behold I had a cold sore developing. I took Trilex and I had my cold sore for 24 hours and it was gone. AMAZING!!!! And I only took half the recommended dosage for about 3 days just to be sure it was gone.

I usually get cold sore once a year (on my lips) - this winter I got a cold sore 3 times in a row (with 2 weeks in between each outbreak) - I was desperate to find something that works fast and maybe eliminate the outbreak all together...I researched online and came across a review that was written about this product so I ordered it...two days ago I felt a tingling sensation on my lips and knew that a cold sore is starting to form there..I panicked and started taking the pills (Trilex) right away (I took 3 of them 3 times a day) - I was so surprised to see that the sore hasn't even developed and within 2 days totally disappeared!!!

I'm a new customer and I'll have to admit that I was a bit skeptical at first. I've tried so many other products for my fever blisters and I couldn't believe there was a product out there that would heal from within and never bring a blister to the blooming stage. My husband researched online and found Trilex. He told me about it and mentioned that we should try it out.
Oh my gosh... I love it! I'll continue using it and recommend it to everyone! I love that it works so fast and that the fever blister never blooms. I'm going on my third day and my fever blister is drying up nicely. It usually takes 3-4 weeks for a blister to dry up! Now I won't be stressed about getting another fever blister ever again!! I used to try and manage my cold sores using topical formulas, after being frustrated by no results I just gave up even trying for awhile. I was told about Trilex by my new girl friend, she raved about it so I tried it.

It definately worked but not how I thought it would. I would say it healed by cold sore really quickly. I still had some symptoms but it didn't explode and it didn't get to scabbing.

Overall I was very impressed and will certainly use it again next time.

I used to get cold sores very often. I have gotten them since a small kid. I would get approximately 2 every two months. I always felt horrible and embarrassed about them. I have been on many different prescribed medication and nothing seems to work. So I tried Trilex. WOW!!! I couldnt believe it. It actually worked. I was amazed!!! I was skeptical, but I needed to do something so I order next day (too expensive) and I got it next day - YEA !

I have been using Trilex for a week now and I am thrilled with the results. The sores dried up and healed faster than any other time in my life.
